CABERGOLINE

Description

Cabergoline is a dopamine agonist primarily used to lower prolactin levels by acting on dopamine D2 receptors in the pituitary gland. Its most common medical use is in treating prolactinomas (prolactin-secreting tumors) and hyperprolactinemia, but it also has off-label benefits in performance and hormone optimization. By reducing elevated prolactin, cabergoline can help restore libido, improve testosterone-to-estrogen balance, and support sexual function, especially in individuals experiencing low dopamine or high prolactin side effects from steroid or peptide use. Additionally, some use it to enhance mood, motivation, and cognitive sharpness, as it can increase dopaminergic activity in the brain. However, it must be used cautiously, as improper dosing can lead to side effects like dizziness, nausea, or long-term heart valve issues with high doses or chronic use.

Prolactin Symptoms:

  • ED: Inability to be aroused, inability to stay aroused.
  • Gynocomastia: Nipple sensitivity/swelling
